Here's a bit of all random news...
I have learned, lately...the following:
1. A teething child already in a mood = a mom trying to be as calm, sensitive and patient as can be. Patience IS a virtue!!
2. A glass of wine = a great way for my hubby and I to unwind at the end of the day
3. Chocolate = heals in MANY different ways...Hence, the wonderful commercial, "My Moment, My Dove", boy are they right :)
4. A toddler getting ready to potty train = no privacy of your own in the bathroom :)
5. BATHS must be given at the same time every night for this toddler. If not, she knows :)
6. The words, "No, No, No Anabelle" to a toddler = "blah, blah, blah, Anabelle" :)
There are more, but I'll stop for now. Belle is a really great kid, just getting through the toddler stage with her. We are having lots of fun watching her grow, speak clearly, learn and play :) It's amazing...
Have a great week everyone and we'll see you on Monday :)
I agree they hear what they want. I find my self picking up my kids occasionally so they have no choice but to look me in the eyes. Try and ignore me now short stuff!
ReplyDeletehaha...'short stuff', huh...hilarious! They must look at you like momma knows business. Yes, I like to get down to Belle's level and talk to her and I will make sure she's looking at me. Once in awhile, I place my hands around her arms. She knows that I am not a happy camper if that happens.
