We (Belle and I) got a text from Nana. Nana wanted to come to play with Belle. I discussed with Belle this morning that Nana and Hailey (her infant cousin-whom my mother watches during the day) were coming over to visit and play. Belle was so excited she kept saying, "Nana, Nana!!" When she's excited her voice starts from a moderate level to an extremely high pitched squeal. My ears are getting adjusted...sort of ;) She has had this habit of wanting to sit herself at the couch near the front window and watch, today it was for Nana. Normally, she'll do that when we are expecting Dada (my Ray) from work. So I pulled the blinds up and sat her on the couch and she waited patiently, occasionally looking out, looking at me and pointing.She's just making sure that she will be coming any minute. As a kid I never was good with patience and time management...I don't think she is either. Kids don't yet have that understanding that when you tell them that they have to patiently wait, they keep on the subject every few minutes. This was the case with her waiting for Nana. Nana did show up with pizza, Hailey came to play too and we had a great visit with her. When we do see Nana and Papa (my parents) we all have a really great time with them. It was all about Belle today...oh, and later on, Nana invited Belle over to spend some more time with her and Papa (since he was going to be getting home)...I left her there for a couple hours and came home to do some work on the house that I've been wanting to do. It always gets done, just usually with Belle in hand (I don't mind either)..I am just glad she had a great time with them :)
