an ACTIVE lil' toddler

Belle gets a little more active everyday...I am learning just like she is, daily :) And, well I am not going to complain (better to see her so active than not), it's just that she amazes me with the things she is capable of doing...Today: top pictures are of her cupcake frosting smile (limited sugar might I add-she is not used to a lot of it). All I had to do was say, "cupcake!" and she practically fell getting around to the kitchen. Running on tile isn't such a great thing. "Why oh why!"...can't kids be wrapped in bubble wrap or at least have rubber soled feet from the time they start to walk????!!!...lol...Bottom pictures: ...(drum roll please)..."taaaa daaaa....and we have a boo-boo"! Yikes...She is so excited to have so much independence. So much so that when I do occasionally turn around for a second she waits until that very second that I am not looking to do something that she knows will get her into trouble...and that is actually what happened with the 'boo-boo'. I walked out from the living room to the kitchen and she had my laptop rolling off the couch and onto her toe. The laptop rolled onto her itty bitty toe and scuffed and broke some skin...ouchy!...She is a tough cookie though. I ran her to the kitchen, dried her tears, set her on the counter (with my hands around her) and took her, 'boo-boo kitty' (Hello Kitty ice pack) out of the freezer and gave it to her to place on her foot. I took a Hello Kitty band-aid and covered it up and placed the ice pack back on her foot. Everything is all better with 'boo-boo kitty' at her service. I need to have her strapped to me at all times. This house is so child proof. I am constantly thinking and improving the house to make it 'kid' friendly :) ACTIVE tot isn't even the word at this point...Video below is of her looking and talking to herself in the garbage can. She does this often, and it was hard to even catch it without her knowing. Enjoy!! *-*
