This was my second official Mother's Day. It ended up being a great one too. A day to celebrate being a mom and having a growing toddler, it tickles my heart. I think Ray was stressed out trying to get gifts and all things 'mom' related while it seemed that everyone else was at the stores too. I was just happy to have us all spending a day together. ~ The night before, May 7th, Ray had come in the door with a lovely bouquet of wild flowers. I ended up showing Belle and she was surprisingly interested and also sad once I took them away. I had to snip off a flower so that she didn't feel left out. Ray also informed me that he bought a years subscription to the T.A.P.S (The Trans-Atlantic Paranormal Society) magazine. We are big fans of the show (Ghost Hunters), so that will be really neat to have...We had a nice night, getting to bed early and enjoying sleeping in. ~Mother's Day, My sister brought over some lovely tulips which went with the bouquet I had gotten already. I woke to very beautiful cards from our lil' squirts and Ray. I cried...yup, these days I am just one big emotional ball...Belle even tried (with her dada's help) to write her own name, and that's what ultimately made me cry. The cards were the sweetest. I also made a lovely dinner and invited my mother and father over. Belle had some time with them, she really enjoys there company. I made two cheesecakes too :) Allot of great memories for Mother's Day this year. I hope all the momma's had a great day to celebrate. Mom's are a very special gift from God!
