tuesday posting

Hey everyone, Hope you enjoyed the weekend? Back to the grind...Monday's are always the hardest...and yes, I can say that because I work too (raising Belle)...smiles :)

We had some company come over on Sunday, April 10th. It was lovely to see old friends. We're so busy in our own world that it's nice to actually be able to plan, have company, a great dinner and conversation. Belle had a great time as she was entertaining a young lady too. Once she has a few minutes to observe and warm up to our guests', she comes outa' her shell and it quite good at playing and conversing with everyone. She's quite the talker these days :) The picture to the side is Belle and Monica doodling...Monica created a very beautiful picture for Belle and it made her day. I think Ray and I need to get chunky crayons and a coloring book of her own. She was so taken by what Monica was doing. It really was quite sweet.
...Hoping that this week flys by and ray gets a break from working Saturday? We'll see...

I've been keeping up on my many projects and the first few I've started are in final stages and I've now started working on Belle's Memory quilt. The first onesie was hard for me to look at, let alone cut up...but after that, I was better about what I was doing and why. I have to say that I was sad smelling all her baby clothes. Brought me back to when she was just days old...wow! It's something how a smell can bring you back...On another note, we are anticipating some rain today...Yay! Our plants need them, as it's been so hot :)
