...We are happy to report that Ray's truck (or our vehicle-what's his is mine too and vice versa...) is now PAID in FULL! Yesterday, we made the last payoff...we've been working so diligently and hard at doing so, we've waited months and it is finally here!...So, now I am able to share such great news for us. We are going to be making arrangements to do other 'saving' opportunities with what we'd normally be spending in a truck payment a month. We will be able to put allot aside, having Belle always in our thoughts as we do anything (and actually, that's the way it should be!)
...Just got a call that Ray may not be having a break this week, A.K.A. a day off!! He is completely exhausted. He worked over 70 hours last week and it looks like by Sunday afternoon he might have the same amount of time in as well. Yikes! It good for us, but sometimes I think, "When is enough, enough, really?!"...Please pray that he takes his time and is safe at work :) He's also been using my car as his is M.I.A. as he needs to install a new battery...so on top of that, he's been coming home and picking us up so I can get some things at the store (wishing I could do this for him) it would be so much easier with both of us having a vehicle to use. One for him to go to and from work and the other for me to run out and make sure our errands are done...praying he has a time set aside so this can get done too :) It'll make our life easier.
...We had an Disney Imagineer (a man that Ray works with) come over for dinner late last night. He is away from his wife and home in California and it was nice to be able to make a nice home-cooked meal for him too. It was a nice visit :)
...I've got the rough draft of Belle's 2nd B-day invites done-Dora of course...
...I might take a break from all things Internet, we've got just so much going on (good things-nothing bad) that I really just want to get away from the world and concentrate on other things :)
So, I'll leave it at that and I am reminded from the verse on the front of our blog...

You guys are just paying off your car and here we are trading our Tahoe for a truck so we are taking on a payment. Now I'll have pay off envy. (wink, wink)
ReplyDeleteWell, we have really tried...it was about 6 months ago we really were trying to find out when it was even possible...now, looking back I see ways in which we've been smart in our decision making, hence, being able to do what our original plan was. We've got so many other things that the money could go towards...On another note, we looked at a Can-Am Spyder motorcycle...we've determined now isn't the time for that either. My hubby had googly eyes. Our decision making was clear on that one, but one day we'd like to buy one. I thought I'd never say this, but I love that bike too. Google it, it's pretty neat :)
