Hey everyone, we've had our usual days...nothing new to report....
Oh wait, other than Belle saying her first 'bad' word today. I rose up in our bed this morning in awe and heard her in her monitor...I couldn't believe it, but the more I sat there listening I realized that is what she was truly saying...She has been speaking well and repeating everything we say, so, I guess that is another reason why it's so very important to NOT use vulgar language, raising voices and careful what influences (people, T.V., etc., ) are around kids'. We had to go out today and I was concerned that since she could speak that word so well, she's be using it...but, sigh of relief, it didn't happen :) She learned it from someone...ugh!...Nice :( I was really taken by it, and I had to laugh it off after it happened as kids, say and do the darnedest things, and she has no idea what she's really saying...only that momma ran in and got down to her level and told her that it wasn't a nice word to say. I haven't heard it today since this morning. Hopefully it's the last!! Her Dada and I will be discussing it tonight :)
I know my kid isn't the only one...I remember getting soap in my mouth for doing the same, and I was older too...for now, all things will be closely monitored. She's a SPONGE!!...

Not a blog break! I know how you feel, I have considered blogging on Mon, and Thursday only. But I have not decided for sure.
ReplyDeleteI think that's what I am going to do too, then people can check in on certain days...instead of everyday and so on...then, it's easier for everyone. There is just so much to do as days go on...more and more...this lil' one keeps me very active :)
