Silipino Skillett Recipe
servings: 4 prep: 5 minutes total: 30 minutes
What you need:
1/2 cup of Jimmy Dean Turkey sausage crumbles
4 eggs
1/4 cup of milk
2 cups of Hash Brown potatos (shredded)
1 cup Kraft 3 cheese blend shredded cheese
1 tbsp. of hot sauce
(EVOO) Extra Virgin Olive oil and/or cooking spray
Pillsbury Flaky Layers Biscuits
Directions:
**FOLLOW the directions on the Flaky layers biscuits, found on the outside of the wrapper (makes 8 biscuits to go with the skillett meal) This is a seperate item to bake to accompany the skillett meal.
1. PLACE a little olive oil or spray onto two pans, on the stove (one for the eggs and another for the rest of the items), then turn the heat to medium for both pans, let it heat up for a minute or so before adding any ingrediants to either of the pans.
2. BREAK the eggs open and beat the milk into a bowl together, then place in one of the heated pans. Keep and eye on it as it will have to be mixed into a scramble mixture. Stir often!
3. MIX the Turkey crumbles and hash browns together in the other heated pan. Place a lid on top and let it cook on medium/high heat for 8 minutes or so, stirring occasionally.
4. ADD the eggs from the other pan into the turkey and hash brown mix and stir together well, mixing all ingrediants together equally, also add 1/2 cup of the cheese to the ingrediants (just enough to melt the cheese), take the pan off the heat.
5. SERVE the skillett meal up and place the rest of the cheese (1/2 cup) onto each individual serving equally. Place the biscuits on the side of the plate to accompany the meal. You may place a few drops (more or less-to your tasting) of hot sauce on the skillet meal.
6. DEVOUR and enjoy!!
