Today, Belle had a play date!! She went to see her 'adopted' cousin Pierce, whom is five, and her 'adopted' auntie Michelle too. Belle's Nana was also there along with Hailey and Papa ended up coming in soon after we arrived. I stopped by Pierce's and Anabelle's favorite restaurant, Chik-fil-A, to get them a kid's meal :) Belle ended up spending about an hour playing and just getting the hang of being around other little kids and playing...she hasn't had much time playing with others around her age. And, all of her playmates seem to be boys at the moment, except for her cousin, Hailey, whom is still very young to really be playing well with Belle and vice versa. We got home in the nick of time, as she was ready for a nap (cranky in the car) and we got home right before the, 'big storm' rolled through. I can't wait to set up some more play dates as Belle needs to interact and get over her 'shyness'...she comes out of it once she's up and playing about :) I'm proud at how well she acted today. Our little girl is growing up!! :)
