Strawberry Delight w/ Brownies (opptional)
Prep: 5 minutes servings: 2 total: 10 minutes
(more time is includ. if you are making the brownies too)
What you need:
10 plump, full-ripened, medium sized strawberries (sweeter)
2 tbs. of Hershey's Dark Chocolate Syrup
2 tbs. of Light Cool Whip (from the freezer)
2 tbs. of Light Whipped Topping (from the can)
**1 Package of Ghiradelli Double Fudge Brownie Mix (optional)
-ingrediants for brownie mix on back of package, follow instructions, includes: water, 1 egg, fudge packet included to stir in with mix and oil**
Directions:
** I made the brownies a head of time and followed directions on the back of the package. This took about 40 minutes of baking and 3 extra minutes of prep time**
1. PLACE the light cool whip on the bottom of the two bowls, equal amounts, serving 2 people.
2. CUT and PLACE the warm brownie on top of the light cool whip.
3. RINSE and CUT the strawberries (5 for each bowl) and place them on top of the warm brownie.
4. SHAKE and SPRAY the light whipped topping on the strawberries.
5. DRIZZLE the dark chocolate syrup on top of the whipped topping. Just enough to get a bit of the taste.
6. DEVOUR and ENJOY!
This is a simple and easy treat that you can also enjoy w/o the extra calories and fat from the brownies. But, there is nothing like a warm brownie and chocolate to end the day. You don't need a lot. Just enough to enjoy. We loved it. This is my lil' creation I made up...I am sure many other people have done the same :)
