our weekend

Saturday the 15th, we all had a good day, it was mostly Belle and I waiting for Dada to get home. Ray ended up working overtime and got home after putting about 8 hours in, which also let us have some family time together and it wasn't too late in the day. We had to go to my parents home and watch their doggies (Chiquita and Phantom). They are always sweet to take care of and they just love Belle (like-wise, I think; by the pictures). We stayed for a few hours and we all got some play time in with them. Belle loves to go over to Nana and Papa's, but this time it was to see the little ones instead :)

After the couple hours with the dogs, we high-tailed it over to our neighbors home (Alan and Jean) as we've not really had time with them this last week and they were also leaving today (Sunday) to go back home. We had a lovely evening with them; conversation (it was nice to have adults around for a change), coffee and cake...Belle also go to see and play with their grandson, Benjamin. I wish I would've taken a picture of them but half the time, they were pre-occupied with the phones and/or playing well together that I didn't want to disturb them from their own gathering. They are only 4 months apart. They were, at times, longing for Ray's attention for some reason. Ben likes the men and I know Belle loves her dada, so they may have just both been jealous?...It ended up being a really nice day :)

Sunday the 16th, we had a very unfortunate day and since it was Ray's only day off we really enjoyed it being together. We absolutely did nothing the early and mid part of the day. Then by the afternoon I did some much needed 'catching-up' on things and let Ray and Belle have some time together. Belle misses her Dada...Ray put Belle to sleep by rubbing her legs and patting her bottom. She was already settling with her fingers in her mouth around 1pm (normal nap time- for the moment), so he just put her to sleep like he normally could :)...Belle only has this with her Dada. He can just coax her to sleep in a few minutes. She ended up placing herself in the corner (picture  to the side) and then later, flipped around and let her dada pat her bottom and she fell back asleep. First time on the couch for that reason and period of time. She was a limp noodle for 2 hours :)

Then later evening, we ended up meeting Ray's cousin, Gary and his son, Bryan at Logan's for dinner in Kissimmee (picture to the side). They are from NJ and we also don't see them often so it was nice to catch-up and get to see at least a few of the clan from upstate (there are many Silipino's in NJ) :) Other than that, we really just had a good day together. Everyday is an adventure for us as there is a little toddler in the household :)
